The ARA will open the application process next week to appoint four new Young Leaders Advisory Board members.  

Y-LAB is an eight-person board for rail professionals aged under 35 years. It is a gender-balanced board comprised of members who represent all sectors of the rail industry. Appointments are for two years, with four Y-LAB members appointed each year. 

Y-LAB was established to:  

• Formally engage the younger generation of the Australasian rail industry on key industry issues. 
• Provide a voice for and be a champion of the industry’s younger demographic.
