The ARA has made a submission to the South Australian Government’s Public Transport Strategy consultation, highlighting the essential role of passenger rail in meeting the state’s long-term transport, safety and emissions goals. The submission called for full recognition of the safety, sustainability and economic benefits of rail in both urban and regional areas and recommended stronger alignment with land use planning, interoperability priorities and climate resilience.
