The Young Rail Leaders Committee (YRLC) undertook a site visit to Transport for NSW at Clyde to learn more about their Digital Systems Program, where they were given a demonstration of the ETCs level 2 simulation. The Committee members learnt about the significant benefits these changes will bring to the Sydney Trains network, and the preparation required for its smooth introduction.
Several outgoing YRLC members were also farewelled. A big thank you to Ben Cribb, Kelly Douglas, Lauren Fraser and Charlotte Robinson for their outstanding contribution to delivering the YRLC strategy over the past two years. The ARA looks forward to announcing the new YRLC members who will commence on 1 July.
The YRLC held an informal catch up on Monday, providing a great opportunity to connect.
The next young rail professionals informal catch up will be held in Newcastle at 5pm Tuesday 17 June at Honeysuckle. We look forward to connecting with those in the area.
