The ARA would like to congratulate the recipients of the ARA’s 2024-2025 Women in Rail Professional Development Scholarships. The ARA provides scholarship opportunities for women in the rail industry to undertake professional and leadership development courses, as part of our Women in Rail Strategy.

We received an incredible number of impressive applications and would like to express our sincere thanks to all who took the time to apply. Selecting the finalists was a challenge, and we were impressed by the passion, skills and determination displayed by all applicants.

For 2024-2025, the ARA is sponsoring 12 women to participate in the Women Rising Program, and one executive level woman to participate in the Chief Executive Leaders Program.  The courses support women across a range of professional levels and aim to build professional confidence and nurture leadership attributes – providing the recipients a strong foundation towards their future as leaders in the rail industry.

The winners will be enrolled in their respective programs by the ARA, with courses commencing in the new year.
