The ARA has joined the Diversity Council Australia to enhance our access to resources and events, as we continue to work towards implementing strategies supporting a more inclusive and diverse rail industry.
The Council has 40 years of expertise, offering the ARA an invaluable opportunity as we expand our work under the diversity portfolio, enabling us to better guide our members as they progress their own initiatives and actions in the diversity space.
The ARA is currently implementing recommendations from this year’s report: Progressing gender equality in the Australasian rail industry. We are also currently finalising the findings of our First Nations engagement project which we will be releasing in the new year.
