The ARA hosted its Victorian Young Rail Professionals Ball last week, which was a huge success with over 120 attendees. The night provided young rail professionals with the perfect opportunity to build connections and foster new relationships, while enjoying a fun night of Hollywood glamour.
A special thank you to Young Leaders Advisory Board (YLAB) member Kelly Douglas for her stellar MC role and engaging icebreaker activities, which encouraged networking and new friendships.
We were also honoured to welcome Amy Lezala, Chief Engineer for the Department of Transport and Planning and a former YLAB member, as our keynote speaker. Her inspirational speech highlighted how volunteering has significantly advanced her career and provided invaluable skills for professional growth.
We are immensely grateful to Mark Green, Managing Director of Speno Rail Maintenance Australia Pty Ltd, for his attendance and for emphasising the importance of supporting the next generation in the rail industry.
A big thank you to our platinum sponsor Speno Rail Maintenance Australia Pty Ltd, gold sponsor John Holland, and networking drinks sponsor Metro Trains Melbourne for their generous support. Thank you all for making the event such a memorable and impactful evening.
