The ARA High Speed Rail Conference 2024 will be held in Sydney on Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 October and will include presentations on key High Speed Rail projects from across the globe.
Presentations at the conference will include a briefing on the Tokaido Shinkansen by Joseph P. Schmelzeis, Director, Central Japan Railway Company, as well as a talk on HSR in UAE by Jean-Philippe Lavallee, Operations and Maintenance Director, SYSTRA and the Italian Railway High Speed experience by Hitachi Rail/ Italferr, Italian State Railways Group.
The keynote presentation at the start of the conference will be delivered by Tim Parker, Chief Executive Officer, High Speed Rail Authority.
The High Speed Rail Conference will also include panel discussions on funding, lessons learnt from Australia’s major projects and the Sydney to Newcastle HSR.
