The ARA’s Future Leaders Program kicked off this week with a series of workshops in Sydney for the group of 45 emerging rail leaders.
Participants had the opportunity to learn how to understand their own leadership styles and explore industry challenges and opportunities.
The ARA’s CEO Caroline Wilkie welcomed the group and spoke about the major issues facing the rail industry in Australia and New Zealand.
The ARA Future Leaders Program 2025 is as an exclusive leadership program, equipping young emerging leaders with the concepts, tools, networks and self-awareness needed for a successful leadership journey.
The ARA has once again partnered with Dr Polly McGee of Disruptive Consulting as lead facilitator. Polly will draw from a diverse range of contemporary leadership theory and practice and apply a rail-specific lens to the program.
This week’s workshops will be followed by webinars and more workshops and networking events in Brisbane and Melbourne throughout the year.
A huge thank you to our sponsor Speno and our incredible speakers and facilitators: Dr Polly McGee, Rikk Maward, Melanie Bowden, Lindsay Scown, Maddi Wu, Caroline Wilkie, Matt Longland, Heather Parry, and Ryan Baden.
