The ARA – Engineers Australia’s Partnership Graduate Program, ensures graduates in rail organisations access structured learning and development and gain practical skills needed in rail engineering teams. Importantly rail graduates in this program have access to ARA courses such as Understanding Rail, ARA Signalling Course, ARA Operations Course, ARA Rollingstock Course and ARA Infrastructure Course. Completion of all five ARA courses will give the graduates the ARA Professional Certificate in Rail Operations and Infrastructure.

Our partnered ARA-EA Graduate Program bridges the skills gap from university to the workplace. The graduates engage with a series of workshops, eLearns, webinars, and on-the-job skills development that directly relates to the work they do. Graduate leaders will have visibility into how the graduates apply these skills through a portfolio of evidence, shared by the graduate.

Throughout the program the graduates learn the skills to practice independently and pursue Chartered status, the next step in their career. Upon completion, graduate engineers will earn recognition and can showcase their skills development through a digital badge and their portfolio. The Graduate Program includes complimentary Engineers Australia Graduate Membership to increase networking opportunities (T&Cs apply).
