RATP Dev is the international arm of the RATP group, the world’s third-largest urban transportation operator. RATP Dev design, operate, and maintain public transit networks all over the world.

RATP Dev is strongly involved in advancing gender equality and diversity, championed by female leaders. CEO Hiba Farès has been proactive in her engagement, as exemplified by her participation in the Women’s Forum Global Meeting 2023 in Paris.

At RATP Dev Australia, we are proud to showcase female team members in key roles, from key technical positions to finance and legal. Our aim is to promote their careers and encourage them to occupy leadership positions; they are proud to have a female technical director paving the way for more diversity representation at top level.

Many initiatives are being taken in RATP Dev’s networks all around the world, to champion the voices of women in the industry. For instance, in Cairo, RATP Dev have been committed to integrating women into the workforce, not only in office jobs but as metro and train drivers, a first in the country! RATP Dev aim to achieve the same goal in Saudi Arabia: in Riyadh, their metro subsidiary is actively integrating women with 30 per cent women in the workforce. In South Africa, after years of strong actions and relentless commitment, we have reached full 50/50 gender equality, with women in key leadership roles starting with their local CEO.
