The ARA End of Year Dinner, held in both Sydney and Melbourne, was attended by 160 people at each event, providing a great opportunity for senior leaders to get together ahead of the busy festive season and reflect on the achievements of the year.

The ARA CEO Caroline Wilkie gave a short address on ARA milestones for 2024 and also launched the 2025 calendar of events, including AusRAIL PLUS 2025 to be held in Melbourne.

ARA’s new Chair of the Board, Lucio Di Bartolomeo, was guest speaker at both events and outlined his extensive background in transport and plans for the ARA in the years ahead.

We were pleased to have several VIP guests attend including, in Sydney, Howard Collins OBE, Coordinator-General, Transport for NSW; Liz Ball, Acting Chief Executive, Sydney Trains; Camilla Drover, Deputy Secretary, Transport for NSW; Peter Regan, Chief Executive, Sydney Metro and Trudi Mares, Deputy Secretary Greater Sydney, Transport for NSW. The Victorian dinner was attended by Natalie Pelham, Chief Executive Officer, ONRSR; Tamara Culembourg, Victorian Rail Advocate; Matt Carrick, Chief Executive Officer, V/Line; Frankie Carroll, Chief Executive Officer, Suburban Rail Loop; and Jacqui Walters, National Rail Manufacturing Advocate.

The ARA has another exciting calendar of events for 2025 from the highly anticipated AusRAIL PLUS, to a range of conferences and networking events. Make sure to mark your calendars to avoid missing out on any of ARA’s events.
