NTRO has state of the art transport research laboratories based in Fishermans Bend, Port Melbourne, Victoria. It employs 240 staff able to deal with all types of rail projects, and multi-modal transport research. NTRO has offices based in Queensland, NSW, SA, WA, Tasmania and NZ, with the head office based at the National Transport Research Centre, 80A Turner St, Port Melbourne, Victoria, 3207.
