Last week, the ARA hosted the inaugural meeting of our Customer Focus Committee, bringing together senior representatives from major passenger operators nationwide. This initial meeting aimed to address common national issues and formulate a collaborative strategy, leveraging collective efforts for greater progress than independent actions could achieve. Key agenda items included disruption management and ensuring customers remain well-informed to maintain a positive service experience, network security to provide the highest quality experience, management of e-ridables, and best practices for understanding customer needs and preferences. Through this new group, under the auspices of the Passenger Operators Executive Committee (POEC)—comprising the CEOs and Managing Directors of major passenger operators nationwide—we see significant opportunities to refine this preliminary work into a comprehensive action plan for industry advancement.
