The ARA will launch the Benefits of Rail NZ report at the upcoming ARA New Zealand Rail Summit 2024, held on Thursday 4 July in Auckland.
The Summit will hear from several industry and government guest speakers and include three panel discussions on rail safety priorities, innovation and the role of rail in an integrated transport network.
Guest speakers at the Summit will include:
- David Wood, Deputy Chief Executive, Investment and Monitoring, Ministry of Transport
- Andre Lovatt, Chief Infrastructure Officer, KiwiRail
- Stacey van der Putten, Director Public Transport and Active Modes, Auckland Transport.
- Gini Welch, National Manager Rail Safety Regulation, Waka Kotahi
- Natalie Pelham, Chief Executive Officer, Office National Rail Safety Regulator (ONRSR)
- Natalie Loughborough, Executive Director Rail, The National Transport Research Organisation (NTRO)
