The ARA is developing a USA Study Tour, to be held from Monday 10 November to Friday 14 November, 2025, to provide members with a unique learning opportunity, featuring insights from global industry leaders on key topics related to the heavy haul and freight sectors. The tour will include topics such as operational innovation, artificial intelligence applications in rail, infrastructure development and the latest updates from global suppliers. 

The USA Study Tour builds on the success of the ARA London and Paris Study Tour in 2024 and will be held the week prior to the International Heavy Haul Association Conference hosted by MxV Rail at their national test facility in Colorado Springs. 

The ARA is interested to connect with any members with operations, relevant experience or specific interests in the US rail market to inform the program development. We are particularly interested in ideas or opportunities in the Dallas, Pueblo and Colorado Springs region and welcome input from our members.
