The ARA took part in a rail industry roundtable on the Federal Government’s transport and infrastructure net zero consultation roadmap in Sydney on Monday. 

The roundtable explored key themes in the consultation roadmap to identify opportunities to support the industry’s decarbonisation efforts and potential timeframes for transitioning away from traditional energy and fuel sources such as diesel. 

The industry feedback gathered at the session will help inform the development of the Government’s roadmap action plan, which is currently in development. 

Consultation on the roadmap is open until Friday 26 July, with the ARA preparing a submission on behalf of the rail industry.
