The ARA hosted a “Crafting your Pitch” Webinar on Monday to support ARA members to create more successful pitches. 

The webinar was aimed at ARA members alongside participants who are participating in various ARA events including those joining the ARA’s delegation to InnoTrans, AusRAIL attendees and those participating in our Supplier Spotlight Series.  

 Managing Director, Aurora Marketing, shared insights, including these key points: 

  • Elevator pitches should be 1 minute maximum and should be natural and engaging. 
  • Listen to who you are talking to. Do they even want to be sold to? 
  • Don’t just go straight into the sell, learn to identify the pain points of the person you are talking to. Understand the context, why are they experiencing difficulties, and finally offer your solution.
