The ARA attended TfNSW In Motion this week – NSW’s yearly transport project pipeline industry engagement event, where the ‘Trains for NSW’ early guidance for industry document was launched. 

Suppliers and contractors received an address from NSW Minister for Transport Jo Haylen and TfNSW Secretary Josh Murray, as well as an update on the Sydney Metro project and next stages of procurement and the NSW future fleet program. 

Workshops were held with industry on several topics, including how to better support local manufacturing, as it commits to a 50 per cent Australian and New Zealand local content requirement and develop local manufacturing guidelines for its adoption.
