The ARA’s Antisocial Behaviour Network met, to discuss where differences in law, or government/organisational policy are creating challenges in managing antisocial behaviour and crime. Around the country, there are different laws, including the introduction of Jack’s law in some states, which impacts knowledge sharing of best practice. The network will collate this information with a view to focusing harmonisation efforts.
The ARA Cybersecurity Network, which brings together cyber specialists, telecommunications companies and expert consultancies, met to share knowledge on trends as well as initiatives being progressed. It is very pleasing to see that matters of IP take a backseat when such an important issue is being discussed, and we commend the group for sharing so freely.
