Last week, the ARA’s General Manager – Rail Freight and Heavy Haul, Georgia Nicholls and Policy Officer Mikaela Stewart attended Informa’s Heavy Haul Conference in Perth. The conference brought together industry leaders and decision-makers to latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the heavy haul sector. Key themes included advancement in automation, decarbonisation, asset management and network resilience. The team were guests of dinner sponsor Downer and were able to celebrate all the award nominees and winners, as well as learn more about Downer’s decarbonisation offerings in the Heavy Haul Rail sector.
