The ARA’s Integration Working Group held its third meeting this week. The Integration Working Group was established following the Systems Integration Roundtable held in August 2024, to collectively discuss opportunities to improve integration management and outcomes of major rail infrastructure projects.  

The group is working through the challenges identified at the roundtable and investigating opportunities and trial solutions to collectively address integration challenges, where it is practical to do so. The Working Group is not proposing changes around technical standards and technical integration but rather seeks to improve the broader integration considerations and application for better project outcomes. Working Group members include those responsible for integration within major projects from both the client and contractor perspective.
