The ARA participated in the Australian Construction Associations Foundations and Frontiers 2024 online roundtable with other industry leaders to discuss the topic ‘a Data Rich Future’ .  

Discussion included the leveraging of the data that the industry produces and defining consistent performance metrics and challenges to support the construction industry to be more data-enabled. 

Participants expect productivity to remain steady or increase moderately in the next 12 months. The main impacts affecting worker productivity are: 

• Standards ways of working and automation; 

• Greater investment and digitisation; 

• Improvement procurement and supply chain management; and  

• Upskilling workforce
