The ARA has recently joined the Trusted Information Sharing Network (TISN) for the land transport sector, which held its first meeting for the year this week.
The group is coordinated by the Department of Home Affairs and is focussed on enhancing the security and resilience of critical infrastructure assets (including rail) in the face of all hazards. In addition to creating a valuable forum for collaboration between industry and government, the group also progresses a work plan to advance the Critical Infrastructure Resilience Strategy and develops mitigation strategies that address asset vulnerabilities and strengthen our critical infrastructure.
This week’s meeting reviewed the terms of reference for the group, discussed the forward work plan, discussed the critical infrastructure environmental scan, and received a briefing on cyber security legislative reforms.
