The ARA’s upcoming 2025 Rail People and Culture Conference will dive into the latest developments and insights on AI trends, the impact on rail skills of infrastructure investment, industrial relations, safety law reform, and building mentally healthy, inclusive workplaces.

Held in Sydney on Tuesday July 29 and Wednesday 30, the conference is designed for professionals passionate about workforce issues in rail and will feature several presentations and panel discussions.

Professor Anjum Naweed from CQ University will deliver a keynote presentation on how AI is transforming rail operations and workforce management and discuss opportunities and challenges posed by AI adoption in the industry, as well as ethical considerations and skill development for an AI-driven future.
