2021 Australasian Rail Industry Awards Dinner


Celebrating the best of the rail industry

The Australasian Rail Industry Awards Dinner has been postponed to Thursday 4 November 2021.

The new date will ensure as many people as possible can take part in the event to help us celebrate the best in the rail industry. Finalists for the awards will be announced on Thursday 16 August, with the winners to be revealed at the gala dinner in November.

Anyone who has already registered to attend the dinner will have their booking automatically transferred to the new date and do not need to take any action. Contact us at events@ara.net.au for more information. 

The Australasian Rail Industry Awards (ARI Awards) recognise and celebrate individual and company achievements in the rail industry, showcasing examples of excellence and innovation to support its growth and success.

Join us to celebrate the announcement of this year's awards winners at our gala dinner in Melbourne. 

Proceeds from the ARI Awards go to the TrackSAFE Foundation, a registered Harm Prevention Charity established by the industry to reduce near collisions, injuries, and fatalities on the rail network from suicide and reckless behaviour.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy  

  1. Where permitted, you may cancel all or part of your registration. Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent by email events@ara.net.au  

  1. If your cancellation notification is received by the ARA at least five business days or more before the start date of an Event, the ARA will provide you with a refund of the Fees minus any administrations costs (as reasonably determined by the ARA).  

  1. No entitlement to repayment arises for cancellations with less than five business days of notice. 

  1. Refunds will not be granted if you fail to attend or where a substitute is not provided.  

  1. Cancellation pursuant to this clause does not terminate our agreement with you, which continues until resolution of all outstanding matters to the ARA’s satisfaction. 

  1. The ARA reserves the right to cancel or vary optional activities if minimum numbers are not reached.  

  1. The ARA has no liability for the loss of money in relation to travel, accommodation and other expenses as a result of an event cancellation. Obtaining travel and other insurances to protect such loses are at the discretion of the registrant and are not included in your registration fees. 

  1. Special dietary/physical requirements: These cannot be catered for unless requested before the event registration closing date. Please indicate any special requirements specifications on your registration form or email. 

  1. All communication will be via the contact details you provided on your registration form including email. The ARA cannot be held responsible for non-receipt of communication.
