An Insight into Rollingstock Engineering Course

ARA and the Railway Technical Society of Australasia (RTSA) will conduct the Insight into Rollingstock Engineering course again in 2019.

The 1.5 day introductory course will provide an insight into the principles used in the design, manufacture and maintenance of railway rollingstock including locomotives, passenger cars, multiple unit trains and freight wagons. The course is designed for those new to the industry and those required to liaise with rail engineering people involved with rollingstock acquisition, operation and whole of life support projects and the interface between each of the rail operating systems.

Due to the continuing uncertainty relating to the evolving COVID-19 situation, ARA courses will not be going ahead for the remainder of 2020. The courses will be rescheduled in 2021, new dates will be promoted in the ARA Weekly Update and Event Alert emails when confirmed.

Registration includes the 1.5 day course, hard copy and electronic versions of all presentations, morning, afternoon tea and lunch. Prices are in $AUD and include GST:
