The ARA, in partnership with Pilot Light, is running Dr Brené Brown’s Certified Dare to Lead™ workshops in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth in early 2020.
What is Dare to Lead™ Training?

Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program for leaders, teams, and individuals.

Women discuss rail at an ARA Women in Rail Lunch.
Diversity in Rail Lunch, Sydney

Following the success of the ARA Women in Rail Lunches held in 2018 and 2019, the ARA will be hosting a Diversity in Rail lunch in Sydney on Thursday 19 March 2020, lunches are also planned for Melbourne and Perth.

The purpose of the event is to promote the value of a gender-balanced Australasian workforce, acknowledge the challenges that as an industry we need to overcome and foster a culture of appropriately championing diversity in rail.

Light Rail 2020

The ARA will host the Light Rail 2020 Conference on 4-5 March 2020 at the Hyatt Hotel in Canberra.
The Conference will bring together operators, manufacturers, contractors and industry and government stakeholders of every level across the light rail sector. Attendees will hear cutting-edge case studies, project updates and learn from successful projects in Australasia and the world.
