Participants took advantage of the Easter long weekend and we saw good progress in several modules being completed across the cohort.

Some of the early feedback from users included: “The content provided was thorough, thought provoking and informative” and “course contents are structured very well and easy to understand for those new to the rail industry”.

Participants reported that they felt they had considerably increased their knowledge of rail and it assisted them in their current role.

As one participant explained: “Working in organisational development and learning and development, this information is key to setting our people up for success, and providing insight into how broad the industry is and the many different pathways available. I would like to include some of the key developments with our new starter package to embed this into every day practice, contributing to the culture of the business.”

The next iteration of Understanding Rail course starts Monday 6 May, and is open for registrations.
